Cummins launches new remanufactured brake callipers under Euclid brand
According to Cummins, "the remanufacturing process is more environmentally friendly, as it reduces the need for raw materials and minimises waste". This meticulous approach allows Cummins to deliver high-quality callipers at a lower cost versus new ones, providing significant savings for European fleet operators.

Cummins Drivetrain & Braking Systems introduced its latest line of remanufactured brake callipers under the renowned Euclid brand. According to Cummins, “the remanufacturing process is more environmentally friendly, as it reduces the need for raw materials and minimises waste”.
Cummins’ Euclid remanufacturing process
The Cummins remanufacturing process involves disassembling the callipers, cleaning and inspecting all components, replacing worn or damaged parts, and reassembling the units to original equipment (OE) equivalent specifications. This meticulous approach allows Cummins to deliver high-quality callipers at a lower cost versus new ones, providing significant savings for European fleet operators and vehicle owners.
Cummins’ remanufactured brake callipers conserve natural resources and reduce the environmental impact of OE brake calliper production. These products “undergo comprehensive testing and quality control processes to ensure reliability and durability”.
According to Cummins, Euclid callipers provide long-lasting performance and dependable braking. Some key features of Cummins’ brand include the use of high-quality materials, processes like advanced coatings, comprehensive testing activity, as well as flexible core scheme.
“The Euclid brand has been synonymous with dependability and performance in the US market for many years. The introduction of new remanufactured brake callipers, under the Euclid brand, aligns with our vision of leveraging this expertise to deliver products with strong performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness to our European customers”, commented Andy Hill, Business Line Leader of Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems.
