Exide Technologies will present its comprehensive portfolio at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart. Following its acquisition of BE-Power GmbH, Exide Technologies combines energy storage expertise with enhanced lithium-ion battery offerings, aligning with Industry 4.0 trends and ensuring close-by service.

Exide Technologies is at the forefront of smart electrification, providing advanced solutions for material handling fleets and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)/Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). At LogiMAT 2025, the company will showcase its technology-agnostic batteries and proprietary lithium-ion expertise for the material handling and intralogistics sector.

The new Solition Material Handling battery system from Exide Technologies enhances reliability and safety while having a positive effect on the total cost of ownership (TCO). It transforms fleets through smarter electrification, offering high cycle life, high energy density, fast and frequent opportunity charging, 24/7 applications, multi-shift operation, zero gas emissions, and remote access for simple asset management. This advanced lithium iron phosphate battery boosts energy efficiency, lifespan, and sustainability of industrial operations.

Committed to offering customers the ability to adapt the performance of their bespoke lithium- ion batteries for AGVs/AMRs to changing requirements, thus avoiding the need for a complete replacement, the latest scalability feature of the proprietary BMS (Rev. 05) from Exide Technologies’ BE-Power automatically performs this task in a simple “plug & play” mode, omitting the need for manual intervention. In addition, the newly developed and upcoming self-diagnostic function reliably determines the health status of a lithium-ion battery, even during operation, and thus enables preventive maintenance and improved battery performance and service life.
