ZF introduces the new EcoLife CoachLine drive system

Taking the efficiency of buses and coaches to a higher level. To do this, according to ZF, an effective and efficient transmission system is also needed, such as the new EcoLife CoachLine, which the company presented to the sector press during the two days of San Lorenzo de El Escorial (a few kilometers from Madrid ), in which Autobus took part, the only Italian media present at the launch in Spain.

The new ZF automatic transmission is even more efficient and performing than the previous generation, the EcoLife 2, also improving the driver’s driving comfort and cutting fuel consumption by 3%. Furthermore, this new transmission has been designed for bus coaches with powerful engines, with torque up to 2,800 Nm, called to operate not only in the city, but also on inter-urban and extra-urban sections, also characterized by hilly and / or steep mountain routes.
