What we saw and heard at Ecomondo – Key Energy 2021. Scania, for first

The scoop comes from the Scania stand, which presented the world premiere of the electrification solution. The griffon electric machine is 650Volt, 230 to 280 kilowatts, measuring 485 millimetres with SAE1 flywheel housing, 370 without housing. Reversibility is the basis of a design that provides the same flange attachments as the Diesel engine. As far as batteries are concerned, we told you last year about the agreement between the VW Group and NorthVolt.

What happened at CMD booth? They showed three new products. The first is the biomass cogeneration system, developed in a version with noise reduction from 65 Db to 55 Db at a distance of 7 metres. Ecoburner, which, compared to the biomass microgeneration system, only produces heat. It is a 100 kilowatt thermal plant, used to produce hot air in the process.
