ONS Foundation is the organizer of the event,  in Stavanger, Norway on 26-29 August, Teledyne is the protagonist of this story.

What will Teledyn do at the ONS?

At the ONS 2024 exhibition, Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection (Teledyne GFD), Teledyne FLIR, and Teledyne Marine will showcase on their joint stand, enhancing safety in hazardous industries. Additionally, Teledyne will introduce advanced emission monitoring solutions to comply with the latest regulations and provide effective LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) solutions. The joint exhibition will feature Teledyne GFD’s fixed and portable gas and flame detection solutions, Teledyne FLIR’s thermal imaging cameras, and Teledyne Marine’s instruments for monitoring and exploring the ocean’s depths.

Teledyne FLIR

FLIR, a Teledyne Technologies company, will showcase its expertise at ONS 2024 by offering quick thermal imaging solutions for oil and gas inspectors, managers, and technicians, addressing challenges like leak detection and system integrity. Key highlights will include the G-Series cameras, designed to detect hydrocarbons, methane (CH₄), and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) across various stages of the oil and gas supply chain. These cameras feature advanced gas quantification analytics that help companies comply with the new EU Methane Regulation by measuring leak types and severity.

Teledyne Marine

Teledyne Marine will feature two key products at ONS 2024. The Modular Connectorized Distribution Unit (MCDU) is a factory-qualified subsea distribution unit designed for flexible underwater configurations. Its compact-frame design allows ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) to install and retrieve it without the need for lifting wires. Additionally, the Optical Feedthrough System (OFS) will be showcased. This ‘wet mateable’ optical connector is designed for high-pressure and high-temperature environments within a vertical Xmas tree (VXT) valve stack on a subsea wellhead. The OFS ensures pressure integrity and optical continuity and measures 2 inches (50mm) in diameter and 12 inches (300mm) long. An accompanying display screen will feature an animation demonstrating its operation.
