The Dumarey Group attended the 2024 Genoa Boat Show with a series of technological innovations and new strategic collaborations (in particular, the one with NatPower) that represent a significant step forward in the marine and renewable energy sector, consolidating its position in the nautical world.

The unveiling of the Dumarey Electronic Platform marks the introduction of a cutting-edge propulsion control unit, offering exceptional versatility for applications in marine, energy generation, and mobility sectors. This first Dumarey-branded control solution is the culmination of more than twenty years of extensive experience in creating customized control units for clients. The Dumarey Electronic Platform was designed and developed in-house to meet the highest markets standard of performance and reliability.

Dumarey’s display will included General Motors’s Hydrotec Fuel Cell Power Cube. Hydrotec contains 300-plus hydrogen fuel cells along with thermal and power management systems. The system is compact and easy to package and can be used in a wide range of applications, including marine, earth-moving, locomotives and power generators. Dumarey has experienced engineers who are available to assist with the integration of fuel cells into new product applications.

Another technology presented in Genoa was the new Seatek common rail version of their 6-cylinder in-line 10.3 liters engine. This upgrade, designed by Dumarey experts and controlled by the brand-new Dumarey Electronic Platform, makes the engine even more efficient and with reduced emissions, meeting the increasingly stringent demands of the marine market.

Dumarey: the synergy with NatPower

Dumarey’s commitment to a sustainable future is further highlighted by its synergy with NatPower, a hydrogen energy provider. NatPower presented at the Dumarey booth a model of a hydrogen fueling station already installed in the Venice marina.

Pierpaolo Antonioli, CEO Dumarey Automotive Italia and CTO Dumarey Group, comments: “Year over year, the Genoa Boat Show for us has become a cornerstone event. The products and innovations we will showcase represent pivotal steps in Dumarey’s long-term strategy towards a sustainable propulsion. Leading the way to drive the marine industry towards a greener, more efficient future is the strong vision of our Group”.
