FPT Industrial and Yanmar Marine. Another illustrious name ends up in FPT Industrial’s references: Yanmar Marine. On the one hand, FPT is strengthening its portfolio as a supplier to the market for medium power yachts and light commercial applications such as water taxis, pilot boats and small tugs (here the record speed together with the unforgettable Fabio Buzzi). On the other hand it is active in the broadening the list of four-handed deals: Caterpillar, Mercury and now Yanmar. The agreement concerns the N67 Evo and should have received the consecration. We mentioned this common platform in reference to Yanmar. Let us now listen to the FPT version, directly from the words of the press release.

FPT Industrial, the brand of CNH Industrial dedicated to the design, production and sale of powertrains for on and off-road vehicles, marine and power generation applications, signed a memorandum of understanding with Yanmar Marine International, foreseeing a commercial cooperation to develop and supply marine engines.
FPT Industrial will manufacture and provide two types of diesel marine engines based on its existing N67 EVO and C90 engine families to be customized by Yanmar and marketed under its brand.
