FPT Industrial is strengthening its presence in the UK and Ireland with the appointment of four new distributors: Marline Marine Engineering, Breakwater Marine, Engines Plus and Mitchell Diesel. The companies will also be responsible for the provision of services and sales of spare parts.

With over fifty years of experience in the marine industry, Marline Marine Engineering is a centre of excellence for boat builders, anglers, private boat owners, rescue organisations and energy suppliers. The company is an authorised distributor for marine applications in the UK and Ireland.

Authorised UK distributor for marine applications, engines, axles and transmissions, Breakwater Marine has a team of highly experienced and qualified engineers who provide maintenance and care for marine applications from fishing boats to luxury motor yachts.

Founded in 2009, Engines Plus has quickly become an influential supplier to the UK marine and industrial engine market. Its success is based on the team’s deep experience and on providing perfectly engineered packages to meet the specific needs of a highly competitive market environment. The company is an authorised distributor for marine, off-road, on-road and power generation applications, engines, axles and transmissions.

Founded in 1950 and now employing a team of around 200 professionals, Mitchell Diesel is an authorised distributor for marine, off-road, on-road and power generation applications, as well as engines, axles and transmissions. It is one of the largest diesel engineering services companies in the UK.

Andrea Arcuraci, Head of Sales EMEA Dealers for FPT Industrial, said: “Our goal is to be even closer to our customers, both existing and new, by offering sales and support services that meet all their needs. The new distributors will strengthen our presence in two key markets, the United Kingdom and Ireland, where we expect to see the positive results of this reinforcement in the coming months”.

In the UK market for several years, FPT Industrial marine engines are fully compliant with the current UK emissions regulations. In the commercial sector, the entire product range is compliant with IMO Tier III regulations. FPT Industrial marine engines, ranging from 4 to 15.9 litres, comply with these regulations thanks to the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system designed in collaboration with Frydenbø Industri AS Marine, the authorised distributor of FPT Industrial products and services in Norway and Sweden. Furthermore, the N40, N67 and Cursor 9 engines comply with the IWV Stage V / GBTA emission standards required for inland waterways.
