MAN Engines and Princess Yachts continue their successful partnership. The British manufacturer of luxury motorboats and MAN Engines have agreed to extend their partnership until at least the end of 2025. MAN Engines will fit all Princess models from 65 feet upwards with V12 and V8 engines during this period.

We value the MAN engines’ incredible performance and their outstanding power to weight ratio. Their propulsion system expertly compliments our exceptional yachts and Princess Yachts is delighted to be continuing the rela- tionship with MAN Engines,” says Paul Mackenzie, Chief Operating Officer, Princess Yachts

Claus Benzler, Head of Marine at MAN Engines, is also upbeat about the partnership: “We would like to thank Princess Yachts for their faith in our products and the part they play in this excellent partnership. We look forward to a successful future together, driving innovation in yacht construction and state-of-the-art propulsion technology.”

Currently, MAN Engines supplies Princess Yachts with V8 engines ranging from 1,200 to 1,300 mhp (883 to 956 kW) and V12 engines ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 mhp (1,029 to 1,471 kW). With the MAN Smart HYBRID Experience, additional power of 250 mhp (184 kW) can be flexibly supplemented. All the engines meet the currently applicable emissions requirements of IMO Tier II, RCD II, EPA Tier 3 recreational and China 2 recreational. This means that all the yachts can be sold and operated worldwide. End customers also benefit from the large network of around 500 service stations that deal with MAN engines and can be found in all of the major hot spots around the world.
