Wärtsilä and Italy, the love story continues. Handling system for new LNG bunkering vessel
The Wärtsilä system selected for the aforementioned bunkering vessel includes a complete engineering, design and equipment supply package for the cargo handling system, including a loading and discharge system, a boil-off gas (BOG) management control and integrated fuel supply system, as well as the custody transfer and bunkering transfer systems.
Wärtsilä Gas Solutions will supply cargo handling system for new Italian LNG bunkering vessel, according to a contract booked back in August. The ship is being built at the Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering shipyard in China for the Italian-based shipping group Fratelli Cosulich. We dared to use the words ‘love story’ in our headline thinking about some more orders announced by Wärtsilä in Italy, earlier this year.
