Dieci renews its range of telehandlers for agriculture with the introduction of the new AgriMax 50.8 PowerX2 model equipped with the innovative Dana Rexroth HVT1 transmission. Dieci, Italian specialist in telescopic handlers, has concentrated its production on Kubota and FPT Industrial engines. Recentely Perkins has appeared. Over 100 kW threshold is FPT the propulsion provider of the Italian OEM. The new telehandler has been introduced at the last Agritechnica, back in November 2019. The HVT1 is a continuously variable transmission in which the mechanical and hydraulic components vary their contribution according to speed.
Dana Rexroth HVT1 transmission
Dana Rexroth HVT1 transmission makes it possible to switch from a predominantly hydraulic component at low speeds, with undoubted advantages in terms of manoeuvrability and precision, to 100 percent mechanical component at high speeds. (Here, the first part of our long interview to Rino Tarolli, Dana Inc., published at the beginning of this year).
In this case, efficiency is increased and consumption is lowered during road transfers, towing and load & carry work typical of biomass, biogas plants and woods handling.
125 kilowatt FPT N45
This technology, borrowed from agricultural tractors, is also gaining ground with large wheel loaders with high efficiency gains. The new Dieci AgriMax 50.8 PowerX2 features a 125 kilowatt FPT engine; the maximum load capacity of 5,000 kilos and the maximum working height of 7.70 meters makes it a telehandler with quite a high productivity target. There is the 4-cylinder Nef, with a unit displacement of 1.1 litres, to meet the propulsion and lifting needs of this telecopic handler.
Established in 2011, Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems is a 50-50 joint venture formed by Dana Holding Corporation and Bosch Rexroth to develop and manufacture advanced drive transmissions for the off-highway market.
