Briggs & Stratton has announced changes in its EMEA team, that will allow the company to more actively promote and progress its electrification and rental business in the EMEA region. Paul Bramhall, previously Director Marketing EMEA, has moved into the role of Director Electrification & Rental EMEA. Pia Weimer will be promoted and take over from Paul as Director Marketing EMEA. 

As Director Electrification & RentalPaul Bramhall will lead the Business Development Team in growing Briggs’ commercial electrification and rental business. In the newly created role, he will develop a strategy and support initiative for client management and acquisition in the EMEA region, while providing direction to Johannes Böhlau and Ladislav Poledna as Business Development Managers – Electrification & Rental.

Paul has been with Briggs & Stratton for over 20 years, fulfilling various positions in the UK and Switzerland, most recently as Director Engine categories – Europe, and Director Marketing EMEA. In this role, and as a serving member of the European Rental Association technical committee, Paul has already been instrumental in successfully repositioning Briggs & Stratton’s commercial engine brand in the European rental market, gaining placement in a number of rental companies covering 19 countries. Paul is based in Freienbach, Switzerland.

Pia Weimer replaces Paul as Director Marketing EMEA. Pia joined Briggs & Stratton a year ago as Senior Manager Retail Europe, and will continue to lead the retail team in her new role. Pia brings more than 15 years of marketing and sales experience to her new role and has worked in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Before joining Briggs & Stratton, Pia was responsible for Trade Marketing for Handtools, Storage and Laser, for Stanley Black & Decker’s Stanley, Dewalt and Facom brands. Pia is based in Germany and will lead both the Retail and the Marketing team. 

Paul and Pia will report directly to Florian Mayer, Senior Director Sales & Marketing, Engines & Power EMEA.
