Dacke Industri acquired, on October 3rd, 2023, the majority of MecVel Srl shares, a leading manufacturer and developer in the linear automation field of electric linear actuators and mechanical screw jacks. 

This acquisition aligns with the Company’s ambition to grow and develop with companies focusing on their own products and customized components and systems. MecVel will be included in the Air Technology and Electromechanics division, where similar companies have significant knowledge that can contribute to the group.

Since 1987 MecVel is in the linear automation field, developing and manufacturing a constantly updated range of electric linear actuators and mechanical screw jacks. It has its headquarters in Bologna, Italy with about 50 employees and an annual turnover of more than Eur 12 million. 

The customization service offered by MecVel allows configuring each product per the specific technical needs of the designed application. The client will be followed and advised in each phase of the development.

The products are designed, developed, and assembled in Italy. The raw materials and the components used in the actuators’ manufacturing are high end and comply with European standards. They serve a range of different business areas as the food industry, steel industry, heavy industry, hydroelectric, pharmaceutical, and more.
