Deutz establishes its own central service and sales organization in Poland taking over the independent company Biuro Techniczno-Handlowe Fast Sp.z.o.o. (BTH Fast). Founded in 1990 and based near Warsaw, the company is particularly active in the markets for mining machinery, industrial applications, railway technology and agricultural machinery. BTH Fast also supplies Deutz engines for the use in military vehicles as part of the support for the Ukraine. To ensure a comprehensive market coverage, BTH Fast collaborates with seven service partners in Poland.

Deutz is acquiring 100 percent of the shares in the profitable company from its founder Stefan Fabijański, who will be available to BTH Fast as an advisor in the future. The operational management will remain in the hands of the existing management.

Deutz CSO and CTO Markus Müller says: “We have already worked very closely with BTH Fast as our central dealer in Poland and are pleased with the takeover by Deutz to have also found an optimal succession solution for the company. I would like to thank Mr. Stefan Fabijański for his trust in Deutz as the future owner and warmly welcome our new colleagues.”

The transaction is subject to customary reservations, in particular antitrust clearance. The closing is expected to take place soon.
