Frank Hiller will be the Chairman of the Board of Management at Deutz for five more years. At its meeting on February 10, in fact, the Supervisory Board of Deutz AG extended the term of office, now officially running until December 31, 2026. Frank Hiller has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Deutz AG since the beginning of 2017.
«Under his leadership, the Group has successfully expanded initiatives such as the E-Deutz strategy and its activities in China. The efficiency program introduced in 2020 is designed to continue protecting Deutz’s liquidity and drive ahead its growth projects», stated the German Group.
Besides Frank Hiller: Deutz invests in its German sites
Talking about the company’s view of the future, Deutz has recently announced investments for 41 million euro in its German sites, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness and innovation. Furthermore, Deutz and the IG Metall labor union have agreed on a supplementary collective pay agreement with a three-year term.
«The action plan agreed today constitutes further progress in safeguarding the future viability of our company. We are aware that, with the signing of this agreement, our employees are making a significant contribution to protecting jobs at our sites in Germany», said Frank Hiller. «The labor union, workforce, and the Company have worked together in exemplary fashion to find a good solution».
Deutz introduces Lifetime Parts Warranty
With effect from the very beginning of the current year, the extended warranty is available for any Deutz spare part that is purchased from and installed by an official service partner as part of a repair job and is valid for up to five years or 5,000 operating hours, whichever comes first. All customers who register their Deutz engine online using Deutz’s service portal are eligible for the Lifetime Parts Warranty. Maintenance of the engine must be carried out in accordance with the operating manual and only Deutz operating liquids or liquids officially approved by the manufacturer may be used.
