Ecomotive Solutions (Holdim Group) and Isotta Fraschini Motori announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to take place on September 12, 2024, during the third edition of the Hydrogen-Expo in Piacenza.

This marks the beginning of a collaborative journey between the two companies: by combining Ecomotive’s innovative expertise in the development of advanced technologies for the use of renewable fuels with Isotta Fraschini’s long tradition and experience, the partners aim to confirm their commitment to a balanced and gradual transition toward Net Zero.

The agreement will allow Ecomotive to access Isotta Fraschini engine blocks for its developments, with the goal of creating flexible solutions capable of operating with a variety of biofuels and renewable energy carriers, such as green hydrogen. Isotta Fraschini will continue its technological and green sustainability renewal program, benefiting from the activities developed in parallel by Ecomotive.

The roots of Ecomotive Solutions’ expertise in innovation come from over 30 years of the Holdim Group’s excellence in the development of advanced engine control systems,” said Giovanni Deregibus, President of Ecomotive. We are honored to collaborate with Isotta Fraschini Motori, a name that represents a cornerstone of Italian industrial history, and we are ready to join forces to address the challenges of ecological transition, bringing mutual benefits and growth opportunities.”

Andrea Bochicchio, CEO of Isotta Fraschini Motori, emphasized: “Isotta Fraschini is determined to renew its technologies to contribute to a sustainable future, and this partnership with Ecomotive Solutions represents another important step in this direction.”
