Big change at Rehlko: Fontaine in, Perrone out
Succeeding Vincenzo Perrone, Rehlko announced the appointment of Eric Fontaine as the new President of the Engines business

Vincenzo Perrone decided to leave Rehlko, and Eric Fontaine was appointed in his place. Eleven years have passed since that day in 2014 as President of the Diesel business, when Perrone left his position as business manager of John Deere Power Systems. He became President of the combined Engines business in 2020.
What the withdrawal of Perrone means for Rehlko
Vincenzo Perrone successfully attracted interest from small and medium-sized OEMs, as evidenced by the recent DemoDays( find here 2024 and 2023 editions). His tenure also coincided with the launch of the JCB by Kohler series. Meanwhile, other high-volume OEMs, such as Kramer, have joined the lineup. The key factors behind the success of the KDI series include the compact design of the exhaust after-treatment systems, high power density (with small dimensions across the 1.9-litre, 2.4-litre, and 3.4-litre Diesel engines), and ease of installation. Eric Fontaine will report to Brian Melka, who remains Group President, a position he has held for five years.
