Kawasaki Engines European Division’s range is now online

Kawasaki Engines European Division has a new website for engine sales and support. The trading area includes Europe, parts of the Middle East and Africa. Kawasaki designed the new website to support OEM customers, distributors, dealers and end-users. Thanks to this new resource, information about Kawasaki’s range of engines for professional applications is easily accessible. The products choice consists of 2 and 4-stroke petrol engines. These are produced with both vertical and horizontal configurations. The range includes 10 different series, with power outputs ranging from 0.84 up to 26.8 hp (approximatively from 0.617 to 19.7 kilowatts).

A 12-month development

Louise Topp, Marketing Manager has been following the 12-month review and re-design project that preceded the launch. Soon after, she commented on the result. «Our starting point was to collect feedback from across the business, and most importantly from our customers. Our site falls into two parts. The public pages where we wanted to improve the presentation of our engines, and tools such as how customers can locate their nearest dealer. Plus our vast Resource Area for OEM customers and our national distributors, which provides access to a host of business tools and downloadable resources via a log-in. We needed to ensure that both areas were working as effectively and intuitively as possible for their users».

New website, new resources for OEMs and customers

The efforts spent in the development resulted in the introduction of a new design style for Kawasaki Engines. The new website also features enhanced functionality such as an engine comparison tool and improved search facilities. As well, it makes an increased use of video. Also day-to-day operations for OEMs and national distributors take advantage of the Resource Area improvements. The developers have, in fact, made it simpler and more streamlined.

«We are delighted with the end result» comments Louise Topp. «This was an important project to get right as our website it such a vital and well-used resource for all of our customers. We are confident that our new online look and functionality will make it even easier to access information about our range of exceptional quality engines».
