Stefan Dierkes wants to focus on reorganising Hatz’s service

Stefan Dierkes wants to bring to Hatz more support for machine manufacturers and operators. This is why the company has brought Dierkes on board for the management and development of the Service business division. The objective is offering machine manufacturers and operators more advantages through active and modern, digital services.

Stefan Dierkes joined Hatz from Körber Mediapark Systems, where he was responsible for the entire service area (Service Director of the Machinery business unit). Prior to that, he was a member of the Management Board (Executive Vice President Service and Solutions) at Winkler + Dünnebier Neuwied.

Stefan Dierkes will be able to find a lot of inspiration at Hatz. With the H-series, for example, and the new E1 technology, that provides small engines for networked solutions. On this basis, Dierkes will continue to expand the company’s existing services, as well as adding digital services to them. These will include the expansion of Hatz small parts for digital documentation, connected services for the integration of machines in Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things, or an online shop for replacement and maintenance parts.

The words of the new head of the Service business division

Dierkes defined his tasks and goals clearly: «Services are still classically technical in many parts of the engine and machine industry. But the world around us is changing. Today and in the future, manufacturers and operators of machines need services that go far beyond the classic support for engines. The digital revolution, Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things are just a couple of examples that demand completely new service concepts. Hatz will also strengthen its leading role here, as an industry-wide innovator».

«It’s important to us that our services are not just available to our business partners and machine operators in times of acute need. We want to provide active support for our customers across the entire lifecycle of a machine, so as to ensure and increase the added value of their investment. We are taking this path together with our customers. As part of the market, we understand and develop the precise services that the market demands, as well as its future needs».
