DIECI’s telehandlers are also appreciated for their electric solutions. We talked about the Italian OEM concerning Perkins, Walvoil, Dana Rexroth and FPT Industrial, and Kubota.

In the detail of the electric solutions by DIECI

For DIECI, ‘electrical’ is flexible, as demonstrated by the Dual Energy solution applied to the Pegasus rotary telehandlers. This technology is available on the Pegasus Classic. This allows them to work at full speed in both full electric and diesel mode. The Dual Energy kit works with a simple connection to an external 380/400V socket. In this way, once the machine is positioned, it works like a classic construction crane, performing all the normal lifting and positioning operations with the telescopic boom. Translation is obviously excluded. In fact, the latter cannot be operated without starting the ICE either from the cab or from the radio control. The advantages of this system include: the possibility of using the electric motor indoors without the need for ventilation devices; versatility; the removable kit can be easily dismantled and fitted on another identical machine.

There’s also APOLLO-e

DIECI electric

The Apollo-e 26.6 is a compact that can be summarized with the following features:
Dual 44 kWh lithium-ion (LiFePo) batteries – Modular system that allows the second battery to be added or removed at any time – Standard ‘all-in-one’ on-board charging system suitable for any charging infrastructure commonly found on construction sites – Three charging sockets all located in easily accessible spots. The sockets recharge with the bonnet closed for operator safety and to prevent vandalism: industrial (110/220V); three-phase (380/400V); Mode 3 Type 2 (charging stations) – The DIECI Apollo-e 26.6 is characterised by its modular design that allows the hirer to offer a telehandler with 1 or 2 lithium batteries – optimises the hirer’s investment even in the long term – the full electric technology of the Apollo-e 26.6 is also fully compatible with new features still under development – the vehicle can also be upgraded in the coming years – investment costs are lowered.
