John Deere won’t attend to EIMA International. But the engines will be there. Such as the Latin people said: ‘repetita iuvant’ (Repeated things help), we replay the headline just to clarify. RAMA Motori, the Italian distributor of John Deere Power Systems, will attend the event. So, you will enjoy the displayed Deere engines. We don’t know what will happen at SIMA, few days before EIMA. The Deere presence in Paris is still confirmed.
John Deere won’t be at EIMA International
John Deere announces that it will not participate in the next edition of EIMA in Bologna in February 2021 in order to preserve the safety of customers and employees. The company will continue to maintain contact with farmers, breeders and contractors using a new marketing mix of traditional and digital tools.
The events of the last few months have profoundly changed the context in which we find ourselves; now more than ever it is necessary to put health protection at the centre of attention, while at the same time maintaining the closest possible proximity to customers, in order to guarantee services and assistance we can count on, even in this context of uncertainty.
«Thanks to our customers, who have continued to work during the health emergency, the uninterrupted production of food products has been guaranteed: our heartfelt thanks go to them!» says Marzio Devalle, CEO of John Deere Italy. «Markets and daily habits are undergoing a period of profound transformation. We embrace this drive for change with the need to adopt a new marketing approach; in this sense, John Deere Italy has decided not to participate in the next edition of EIMA, recently rescheduled for February 2021».
New standard of communication
«The need for a new standard of communication with customers has led us to take the decision to reduce participation in trade fair events for the time being». «We focus our attention on a marketing model with a mix of traditional and digital communication, to support farmers and contractors in their daily work, in a context of continuous evolution of the agricultural sector. With this in mind, we will focus our attention on various activities throughout the year, alternating the use of digital tools with our presence in the field, to continue to provide operators in the agricultural sector with a distinctive experience with John Deere and its dealer network». «John Deere’s new business strategy will enable us to create an even more customer-focused organization. As a Smart Industrial Company, we aim to provide products and solutions that make our production systems more efficient through the use of technologies that refine our field work by analyzing the data generated in different seasons».
