Walterscheid Powertrain Group, recently acquired by Comer Industries, has completed the acquisition of IFA Kardan, located in Irxleben, Germany. IFA Kardan is a well-established company with a proven track record, that since 1959 develops a diversified range of propshafts and different types of joints for the agriculture, construction and special vehicle markets. Through offering flexible solutions for small and high series for challenging applications, the company is one of the top 10 suppliers for off-road applications in Europe.

This acquisition is another strategic step for us and will expand our driveshaft portfolio even further, and more specifically increase our focus on the main and secondary drives for small & medium sized agricultural and construction vehicles”, said Wolfgang Lemser, CEO of Walterscheid Powertrain Group.
