Yanmar seduced Faresin’s compact telehandler
Faresin presented its most compact telescopic handler at Eima International. The FS 6.26 is equipped with the Yanmar 4TNC98C engine.
The 4TNV98C (pictured at the recent EIMA and ready for the HVO) is one of Yanmar ’s best sellers and it has made an impression on Faresin. The Breganze manufacturer, like Laverda, AGCO Group, showed up at EIMA with the compact telehandler FS 6.26, in fact the smallest in the price list. We also know Faresin for its mixer wagons and telescopic handlers with a higher power range.
Faresin 6.26 is also endothermic, thanks to the 4-cylinder Yanmar
Among the compacts, the 4TNV98C by Yanmar is synonymous with reliability, as well as being popular among applications that do not require SCR (you can find it, among others, also on the YM359 by the same Japanese manufacturer). Delivering 51.7 kilowatts at 2,500 rpm, with a torque of 235 Newton meters at 1,560 rpm, the 3.3-liter (BxS 98×110 millimeters) is limited to the DOC-DPF pairing. The engine communicates with an electronically managed, stepless transmission capable of managing speeds of up to 30 km/h.
Three driving modes are available: ‘Automotive’, where the engine responds directly to the driver’s power requests without mediation, ‘EcoSmart’, where the reduction of diesel consumption is favored thanks to the intervention of the electronic part that mediates between performance and, precisely, consumption. Furthermore, the ‘Creeper’ mode where the engine speed can be set independently of the machine’s forward speed, the latter solution being perfect for some applications. This innovative transmission features automatic control of engine speeds during cold starts, control of over-revving and overheating of the hydraulic circuit.
Faresin’s compact telehandler introduces itself to the public
The FS 6.26 remains a vehicle that, despite its compact size, thanks to its long wheelbase is still able to show off an enviable load capacity. The maximum height of less than 2,000 mm together with a width of just 1,920 mm and a turning radius of 3,250 mm make this telescopic handler a compact machine with high levels of agility. The hydraulic circuit has also been completely revised, which, thanks to the 80 litre/min gear pump, delivers a flow of 210 bar. The hydraulic distributors dedicated to the arm are now in flow sharing, a solution that allows up to three operations to be controlled simultaneously.
Among the possible fields of application are poultry farms, where the height of the buildings and the small maneuvering spaces require compactness and agility. Another working condition where FS6.26 is in its natural environment is the fruit and vegetable sector where among greenhouses, narrow orchards and awning systems, it is completely at ease moving without problems even on rough terrain. In the livestock sector FS6.26 is perfect for the daily needs of handling bales, pallets, manure and various loads.
