FPT Industrial is presenting its solutions for the power generation industry at Powergen International, taking place from 11 to 13 February at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. For the fifth consecutive year, FPT Industrial is also among the main sponsors of the event.

Braden Cammauf, Vice President, North America FPT Industrial Commercial Operations, said: “FPT Industrial is proud of its special relationship with Powergen International, which once again proves to be an excellent platform to showcase our products and vision. The power generation industry is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the growing demand for sustainable solutions. As a leading company in the sector, FPT Industrial is at the forefront of offering solutions that not only comply with global emissions regulations but also ensure the highest levels of reliability and efficiency.

FPT brought to Dallas its recently expanded range of 2.4- to 16-liter engines, compliant with all international emissions standards, from Tier 4 Final/Stage V to unregulated markets. In order to comply with the most stringent emissions regulations, the company has developed the patented HI–eSCR2 system, which allows the brand’s engines to comply with Tier 4 Final and Stage V standards, while maintaining the dimensions of the previous solutions and therefore without the need to modify the layout. All Tier 4 Final/Stage V engines are fully compatible with HVO, reducing the CO2 impact by 90%, depending on the raw materials used in HVO production. The models presented in Dallas are the F34, F36 (below), N67 and Cursor 9.

As for the Tier 3 range, the FPT range includes engines with displacements from 4.5 liters (N45) to 12.9 liters (Cursor 13), and power outputs from 50 kWe to 350 kWe. The Tier 3 engines are equipped with G-Drive, a quick-to-market solution thanks to the pre-assembled cooling system and air filter. Visitors to the stand will be able to discover the N45, the 4.5-liter engine ideal for emergency applications, available in both mechanical and electronic versions.

FPT solutions for unregulated markets

FPT Industrial has developed a wide range of solutions for non-regulated markets, offering compact engines that deliver reliable power with low fuel consumption and reduced maintenance costs. The offering ranges from 2.4-litre (R24) to 16-litre G-Drive engines (with power outputs from 20 kWe to 550 kWe), available with both mechanical and electronic injection systems, and in naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions. The flexibility to switch from 50Hz to 60Hz allows customers to manage their inventory efficiently.
