During the first day of the VTM (Vehicle & Transportation Technology Innovation Meetings), in the session “General Trends in Automotive & Vehicle Innovation”, Pierpaolo Antonioli, CTO Punch Group, has provided the example of how the Group is managing the ecological transition through investments in several zero-emission technologies, based on the principle of technological neutrality, to safeguard both the environment and the industrial chain.

Antonioli has stated: “The energy transition represents a challenge, and also a great chance, for those of us part of the manufacturing base. As this challenging process requires major changes, companies must necessarily work together to achieve this ambitious target, focusing on research, innovation and technology transfer.

Punch Group towards zero-emission technologies

Also on March 30th, during the workshop “Managing the transition, the experience of Punch Group”, the company has explained the technological developments which is carrying out as part of its industrial plan. Punch Group has invited SASA (Bolzano transport company investing in hydrogen buses) and Protocube Reply (digitization and advanced technologies) to the workshop because the Group believes in dialogue and collaboration between companies to achieve the goal of ecological transition.

VTM brings together the international mobility and transport community in Turin, transforming Piedmont into an international automotive universe stage. It is an opportunity to discuss the skills, innovations and major issues impacting the sector: vehicle electrification and batteries, hydrogen and innovative propulsion systems, software defined vehicles, ADAS systems and autonomous driving, connectivity and big data, micro-mobility and new mobility models.
