Simplifhy lands hydrogen storage in Thailand
Simplifhy realised a containerised system for storing green hydrogen at 30 bar, installed in Thailand

Although deeply shaken by the earthquake that also struck Myanmar, Thailand is not backing down from innovation projects, even those related to Simplifhy and hydrogen.
Talking about green hydrogen
Simplifhy has announced the completion of the supply of a containerised system for the storage of green hydrogen in Thailand, as part of a project promoted by PTTEP Technology and Innovation Centre (PTIC). The facility, designed to store and manage hydrogen produced by AEM Enapter electrolysers, is testimony to Simplifhy’s presence in international contexts. The PTIC, located in the Wang Chan Valley in Thailand’s Rayong province, serves as a hub for testing, prototyping and developing pilot models in the clean energy sector. In this context, Simplifhy has developed a turnkey solution for the storage of hydrogen gas, designed and built entirely in Italy and then transported to the site.
Some features of the Simplifhy Thai plant
The system supplied by Simplifhy consists of four tanks of 1,000 litres each, designed for the storage of hydrogen at 30 bar. The absence of compression, the possibility of sectioning the system into four independent modules and fully remote management make this solution particularly efficient and suitable for experimental settings. Control is provided by four automated solenoid valves (two process and two safety) and two gas detection sensors with acoustic alarm systems.
