Lhyfe

Lhyfe kicked off the large-scale production of green hydrogen in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The aim is to produce green hydrogen locally, using renewable electricity and the electrolysis of water, to decarbonise mobility and industry in the region.

Lidl, Jacky Perrenot and Lhyfe announce the launch of the first green hydrogen vehicle in the French mass retail sector. This first new-generation 26-tonne truck is fitted with a 100-kW fuel cell and has a range of 400 kilometres.

Lhyfe announced that it will be supplying the Hyliko refuelling station, which was introduced as part of the wider presentation of its centre of excellence for hydrogen trucks.

Lhyfe has built and will operate a green hydrogen production plant for Deutsche Bahn in Tübingen. The electrolysis plant in the innovation hub of DB Energie, a Group subsidiary, has an annual production capacity of up to 30 tons (installed electrolysis capacity of 1 MW).

Lhyfe has announced the obtention of a grant of up to SEK 125.6m (c. €11m) from Klimatklivet, an investment programme supported by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, to build a local renewable hydrogen production system in Trelleborg, the southernmost city in Sweden.

Lhyfe delivered 350 kg of green hydrogen to natural gas expert Géométhane (Engie Group), for it to test injecting hydrogen into salt caverns in the south of France.
