Swedish data center operator EcoDataCenter has switched the fuel for its mtu emergency power generators from fossil diesel to sustainable Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), solidifying the ambition of being the leading Nordic provider of sustainable and secure data center solutions.

Rolls-Royce and rail operator Netinera have signed a further contract for the complete overhaul of around 170 rail mtu PowerPacks.

Rolls-Royce now offers its mtu Series 1163 and 8000 large engines in all cylinder variants - 16 and 20V in each case - in the power range between 4,800 and 10,000 KW with SCR system for compliance with emission stage IMO III.
