Toyota Motor Corporation announced on February 14 that it has developed a new fuel cell (FC) system, its third-generation fuel cell system (3rd Gen FC System), as part of its continued efforts toward the realization of a hydrogen society.

The EHR | Battery Power Generator by Himoinsa was present at the largest Rally in Japan. The solution proposed, which integrates cutting-edge technology, was based on a Yanmar hydrogen fuel cell, responsible for supplying clean, high-performance energy at this world-class event.

At Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, Las Vegas, Hexagon Purus announced it will be supplying components to Toyota North America (TMNA) for serial production of its heavy-duty fuel cell electric powertrain kits.

The truck will be used to perform road testing and evaluation of improvements towards the next steps of the project. VDL Groep is preparing four more fuel cell trucks, which will be used by Toyota’s logistic providers VOS Transport Group, CEVA, Groupe CAT and Yusen.

French operator CEVA Logistics will soon test hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck manufactured by Toyota Motor Europe. Designed for TME by Dutch manufacturer VDL Groep, the prototype truck will operate under a five-year contract.
